Pickled Cherries (10 oz.)
Sweet, tart whole cherries pickled in red wine, balsamic vinegar, raw sugar, allspice berries, bay leaf and thyme. Reduce the brine for a divine sauce over grilled duck breast. We like to add them to a cheese plate, we love them with duck or pork tenderloin, we adore them with goose. In the summer we like to drizzle their syrup over home-made vanilla ice cream and add a cherry or two.
