French Prune Plum Preserves (8 oz.)
This is a recipe from our grandmother. The plums are French prune plums which make an old-fashioned, divine plum jam. A whole lemon is boiled in a red wine reduction which is added to the plums at the end. This rich, deep plum jam is divine in oatmeal in the morning or on the side of a breast of duck in the evening.
